// Before you sit the paper

The Assessment Test is the second hurdle, not the first.

Our mock tests simulate the ICAI FAFD Assessment Test — the final 100-mark paper. But you only get to sit it after clearing a separate 100-mark eligibility requirement made up of module tests and project work. Candidates lose more marks there than in the paper itself.

Stage 01 · Eligibility — 100 marks

Module Test 1 & 2 — 20 questions each, 1 mark per question 40
Two Forensic Investigation Reports — hypothetical cases, 20 marks each 40
Research Paper (15) and PPT summarising it (5) — topic allotted by the Board 20

50 marks in aggregate across these three components is the precondition for appearing in the Assessment Test. Minimum attendance is 90%.

Stage 02 · Assessment Test

100

marks — 100 questions, one mark each, no negative marking

  • Pass mark 50 out of 100
  • Scored independently of Stage 01
  • This is what our mock tests simulate

Structure per ICAI DAAB participant guidelines for the Certificate Course on Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection. Requirements are set by ICAI and change from time to time — confirm the current position against the communication issued to your batch. RVB Academy is not endorsed by or affiliated with ICAI.

// What to expect

Built to feel like the real thing

The same clock

A countdown that cannot be paused, and submits for you when it reaches zero. Running out of time in practice costs you nothing. Running out on the day costs you the paper.

The same interface

Question palette, Save & Next, Mark for Review, Clear Response — colour-coded exactly as you will meet them. Learn the controls here, not in the first five minutes of the exam.

Instant, topic-wise

Your score the moment you submit, broken down by syllabus head. A topic below half is where your next study session goes — no guesswork about what is weak.

Explanations that teach

Every question you miss comes back with the correct answer, why it is correct, why the closest distractor fails, and a tip that transfers to the same concept worded differently.

Before you start

  • Set aside the full duration. The clock does not stop and there is no resume.
  • Do not refresh or close the tab — the attempt is lost.
  • A selected option is only recorded once you press Save & Next.
  • Attempt everything. There is no negative marking, so a blank is strictly worse than a guess.

Your privacy

  • No account, no registration, no email required.
  • Nothing is stored. Your answers and score never leave your browser.
  • Retake any paper as often as you like, at no cost.

Learn the syllabus. Then prove it.

Study the concepts free on The Agile Auditor, then come back and test yourself under the clock.
